I absolutely love Awkward Black Girl !!! It’s not the story of my life but I can definitely relate to some of her situations and this show helps me get through the day. Shout Out to Issa Rae for creating this hilarious web series.

Surprisingly, I am hooked to this season’s X-Factor. I’m not a really big fan of what’s getting showed on TV now of days but I absolutely love singing competitions with so much raw talent. This little girl is amazing it’s kind of scary. She has such a big toned voice coming out of her little body. No, she’s not a sista but she sure does sound like one. I can just imagine when she gets older and her voice gets more developed. The song she is performing is actually Karmin’s “Brokenhearted” which sounds completely transformed from the original version. Check out Carly’s video and then Karmin’s. Where my 90′s babies at? I cannot tell you how many times I sung this song in my mirror when I was like 7 or 8. I literally wanted to be those girls and when they made this the Cousin Skeeter show’s theme song, I went nuts. This video makes me miss everything that I loved about the 90′s especially that plum lipstick all the ladies use to wear including my mother. I still do the 90′s head bounce to any 90′s song that I hear.

It’s been three years since we lost The King of POP and I am still heart broken. Michael Jackson was everything to me and it took me a whole month to really believe that this man passed away. This man had so much stage presence that people passed out in front of their TV screens when he appeared.
We miss you Michael, very much… Let your soul live on through your music..
This was one of my favorite shows on MTV!!! I wish Diddy wouldn’t have disbanded them because I really did like this group. I thought they were unique because they had mixed genders including singers and rappers. This was one of my favorite episodes because I love seeing freestyle battles. I think that is the best way to see MC‘s with true talent. Enjoy!!
