It has been months since i’ve did a Kicks Of The Day post so it is only right that I do one for the ladies.
The Jordan Spizikes “Miami Vice” was realeased with the Jordan Brand 2010 spring collection.
I love this color scheme!! The turquoise and the pink with the gray goes perfect together. I remember my senior year in high school almost every girl in Winston had these on. It was fun to see the different styles and fashion sense different girls wore with this sneaker.I really hope Jordan plans on re-releasing this sneaker for us fly ladies because it definitely was a hit.

The Miami Vices will always be one of my favorite chick kicks!

Kicks Of The Day: Nike Air Jordan XI (11) x Concords

Jordan wore the Nike Air Jordan XI throughout the 1995-1996 NBA season. Jordan  led the Bulls to yet another NBA victory. He also became the second man to ever win Most Valuable Player awards for the regular season, All-Star Game and NBA Finals in the same season. He averaged 30.4 points per game and scored 40 or more points in nine games. (kicksonfire)

A terrific design with a new patent leather and the return of the clear rubber sole made the Air Jordan XI the most appreciated Air Jordan model ever released.

But the durability and quality was disappointing. Again the clear rubber soles easily yellowed and the patent leather also tended to crack up and/or easily get scratched. Top design – lacking quality

Michael went back to his banning days and was fined $5000 per game during the semifinals in 1995 for wearing the Air Jordan 11 (XI) Original (OG) – Concords (White / Black – Dark Concord). He wore them twice and this was looked upon as uniform violation as the rest of the Bulls wore entirely black shoes. I mentioned in my first kicks of The Day post that he was fined the same fee for wearing the Air Jordan I.

The Air Jordan 11‘s retros are sold in the highest quantity ever and also the fastest selling Air Jordan’s of all time. I remember the all the chaos and craziness that was going on at the time of this shoe release in 2011. I just want to know why is it now that every shoe release whether they are hot or not has to involve people waiting at the mall in their cars at 4am in the morning? People fighting and killing people over some sneakers like really what has the world come to? I could go on about this epidemic but I think i’ve said enough. All I can say is people lost their lives over this shoe so I guess you can call this one a killer!

Kicks Of The Day: Air Jordan 7 – Olympic (2012)

For the third time in a decade the Olympic Air Jordan 7 will be retro’d. The shoe will be one of four Olympic styled Air Jordans alongside the Gold Medal 6/7 Pack and the Olympic Air Jordan 6. Release is currently scheduled for July 21st and retail price is set at $160. (www.sneakerwatch.com)

Hmmm I might have to be one of those fools outside the mall at 4:30 am or should I just pre order them? Either way I’m getting these, they definitely got flava!!!

Kicks Of The Day: Nike Air Diamond Turf II GS – White – Black – Pink

This one’s for my lady sneakerheads out there!!! This is a great time for these shoes to hit the stores, spring’s here which means all my fly ladies gear has to be cold. I love the pink, black, & white color scheme. The pink makes it girly but the black adds this tough look and of course the white balances it all out. It kind of has an Nike huarache look to it with that big strap.  A+ on these :)

Kicks of the Day: Air Jordan I – 1985

The year of 1985 was the year the sneaker industry would be changed forever. Jordan I designed by Peter Moore gained so much popularity and swamped shoe closets across the globe. I find it funny though that they would fine MJ 5000 dollars every time he would wear them to the game because it was against a uniform regulation. MJ did not care about that, he still wore those shoes faithfully. I mean they were his shoes, he had to show love to himself. I know if I had my own pair of shoes i’d probably wear them to bed. Anyways this shoe is essential to sneaker culture and true sneakerheads.

Here’s a video of the commercial aired in 1985
